Getting ready for the 24h Le Mans: checklist

Congratulations! You have registered for the 24 hours rollers Le Mans. So, how would you plan your trip to France? If like me you are going to Le Mans rollers and don’t want to forget something, then you’ll probably need a checklist. Having been to the event several times, I have made a checklist that will help you get yourself organised and ready for the race.

What to bring with you?


  • Valid passport or ID card
  • Medical certificate you get from your doctor
  • European health insurance card (EHIC)
  • Driving licence if you are planning to drive


  • A payment card, credit or debit card
  • Cash in € Euro for food, transport etc.
  • A budget planner to organise your spending


  • Travel tickets
  • Driving licence if your are travelling by car

Skating Equipment

  • Freewheels Team T-shirt (compulsory)
  • Helmet (compulsory)
  • A pair of skate
  • Spare wheels for the rain
  • Tools for skates
  • Protective gears for roller-skating
  • Sunglasses
  • Sun protection for the skin

Food & Drink

  • Energy bars, , fruits, nuts, cereal bars and snacks as you prefer
  • Energy drinks, and sport water bottle

First Aid kit

  • Anti- inflammatory
  • Painkillers
  • Plasters
  • Crepe bandage

  • A pair of vinyl gloves

Camping equipment
